Central Seminary is located in Plymouth, Minnesota. Plymouth is a suburb of Minneapolis, one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. With its "twin" city, St. Paul, and the sprawling suburbs around both, this metropolitan area is home to over two million people.

Plymouth Campus

In February, 1998, God graciously provided Central Baptist Theological Seminary with a new 30,000 square foot facility in Plymouth, MN. This state-of-the-art building provides a 10,000 square foot library, five classrooms, student lounge, administrative and faculty offices, and radio station studios and offices. The seminary comprises one wing of the Central Seminary - Fourth Baptist Church - Fourth Baptist Christian School campus. (The seminary wing is on the left-hand side of the above picture.) Various parts of the church, such as the auditorium, gymnasium, and fellowship hall, are also available to the seminary.

 
Library

The mission of Central Seminary Library is to support the academic aspects of the mission of the seminary by satisfying the programmatic information requirements of the faculty and students.

Romanian Campus

In 1990 the seminary was approached by Baptist pastors in the country of Romania concerning their need for advanced training. Under communism they were denied the opportunity of starting schools or receiving training in the one school that already existed in the country. As a response to this need, the seminary's MABS program was offered in Romania. The only limitation was that the students had to understand English and be able to write papers in English. Faculty from the seminary taught the same courses that were offered in the program in the States.
