His Th.M. thesis provided an interpretation of 2 Thessalonians 3:6-16 in light of a Pauline theology of church discipline and the cultural milieu of the Thessalonian church. He has been published in the Detroit Baptist Seminary Journal. Charles has served as an assistant pastor at East Park Baptist Church in Decatur, Illinois, and has helped to plant two churches in the Twin Cities area. He established and oversaw a Bible institute as an educational outreach of Family Baptist Church in Minneapolis. Charles is married to Megan, and God has blessed their union with five children.
