You must register as a student to receive academic credit. Tuition is free but all term fees apply. Course space is limited; those taking the course for credit have enrollment priority. Visitors may take the class at no cost but must fill out a Visitor Information Form no later than four days prior to the beginning of class.
A Summary of the Course from Dr. Bauder:
The overall thrust of this class is going to be to talk about the God who deserves to be worshiped and why he deserves to be worshiped. It is going to be to talk about us as worshipers and why it is so crucial that we learn to worship, and what role loving God plays in worshiping the true and living God. After these things are discussed, we will bring in the question of what vehicles are adequate to convey the worship that our God deserves to receive.
This course is important for two reasons. First, we are made to be worshipers, and thus our very identity is found in our worship of God. Second, worship is so often done badly, obscuring our view of God and undermining right love for God.
